Japanese Meaning of 場所 (basho)  JLPT N4

Japanese Vocabulary: 場所

Meaning: “place” or “location.”

It can refer to a physical location, such as a building or a park, or it can refer to a more abstract location, such as a position or a state of being.

  2. 場所はどちらですか。 Where is (your) location?  
  3. 集合場所はどこですか? Where will we meet?  
  4. 安全な場所に車を止めた。 I parked my car in a safe place.  
  5. 本堂は一段高い場所にある。 The main building is located one level higher.  
  6. お店の場所を教えてください。 Can you tell me where the shop is located.  
  7. その場所に一週間とどまった。 I stayed at that place for a week.  
  8. 会社の場所を教えてください。 Please tell me where the office is.  
  9. 墓地は人を埋葬する場所です。 A cemetery is a place where people are buried.  
  10. 本は元の場所に戻して下さい。 Please put the book back where it was.  
  11. 混んでいる手荷物受け取り場所 busy luggage pickup
