Japanese Meaning of 汚い (kitanai)  JLPT N5

Japanese Vocabulary: 汚い

Meaning:  “dirty” or “filthy.”

  1. 汚いだけだった。 It was only dirty.  
  2. この皿は汚いです。 This plate is dirty.  
  3. 彼の部屋はとても汚い。 His room is very dirty.  
  4. その町の道はとても汚い。 The city streets are very dirty.  
  5. 兄の部屋はとても汚いです。 My older brother’s room is really messy.  
  6. フォークが汚い皿の上にある。 The fork is on the dirty plate.  
  7. 床に落ちている服は汚いです。 The clothes on the floor are dirty.  
  8. 掃除をしたけれども、まだ汚い。 I cleaned but it is still dirty.  
  9. 汚いから、触ったらいけません。 It’s dirty, don’t touch it.  
  10. 汚い手で赤ちゃんに触らないで。 Don’t touch the baby with your dirty hands.  
  11. 汚い言葉は使わないでください。 Please don’t use dirty words.
