Japanese Meaning of 遠い (tooi) | JLPT N5

Japanese Vocabulary: 遠い (tooi)

Meaning: ”far” or “distant.”

  7. ここから 駅は 遠いですか。 Is the station far from here?  
  8. うちのおじいちゃんは耳が遠い。 My grandfather is hard of hearing.  
  9. この家は都心から遠いのが難点だ It’s a drawback that this house is so far from the city center.  
  10. でも、大人のレベルはまだ遠い。 But an adult level is still far away.  
  11. 学校は家から、ちょっと遠いです。 The school is a bit far from my home.
