2 Particularly, the houses on both sides

  3. 隣の家が火事で燃えた。 The house next door burned down in a fire.  
  4. 隣の家には犬がいます。 They have a dog next door.

  6. 私は隣の村から来ました。 I come from the next village.  
  7. 隣に木造の家が建ったね。 They have built a wooden house next door.  
  8. 隣の家はいつも騒々しい。 The house next door is always noisy.  
  9. 隣の家は鶏を飼っている。 My neighbor keeps chickens.  
  10. 隣の部屋がうるさいです。 The room next door is really noisy.  
  11. ここは隣の市との境界です。 This is the border with the neighboring city.
