JLPT N2 Kanji: 河 (ka, kawa) Meaning: river

  5.  3河川に新たに水位計が設置された。 New water gauges were installed in three rivers.  
  6.  河口湖の近くでキャンプをしました。 We went camping near lake Kawaguchi.  
  7.  この川の河口は太平洋に注いでいます。 This river mouth flows into the Pacific Ocean.  
  8. 台風で2河川が氾濫しそうになっている。 Due to the typhoon, two rivers are getting close to overflowing.  
  9.  桜が咲いて、河川敷が一面ピンクに染まった。 As the cherry trees were in full bloom, the whole river bank was coloured pink.  
  10. トーフグって、河豚なんだと信じ込んでいたよ。 I totally believed that Tofugu was a blowfish.
