「 間 あいだ 」は時じ 間 かん 幅 はば のある状じょう 態 たい を表あらわ す言こと 葉 ば につながり、「その時じ 間 かん ずっと」という意い 味 み を表あらわ す。 後 あと にも継けい 続 ぞく する動どう 作 さ や状じょう 態 たい を表あらわ す言こと 葉 ば が来く る。

Appends to expressions of time, i.e., “throughout the entire time.” Words

expressing continuing action and conditions follow. Do not specify a time point in that period of time.

More example 

1.冬の、クマは穴の中で暮らす。

 During winter、 bears live in their dens.

2.旅行の、友達にペットを預けた。 

While I was away on my trip, I entrusted my pet to my friend.

3.留守のに宅配便が来たようです。 

It seems that a delivery came for me while I was out of the house.

4.旅行の、犬の世話をしてください。 

Please take care of my dog while I’m on the trip.

5.テストの、電卓を使ってはいけない。 

We can’t use a calculator during the test.

6.午後は、ホストファミリー全員が外出しているに、家の掃除をした。 In the afternoon、 while everyone in my host family was out, I cleaned the house.

Conclusion

We use aida 間 to Appends to expressions of time, i.e., “throughout the entire time.” Words expressing continuing action and conditions follow. But  Do not specify a time point in that period of time.
