JLPT N3 Grammar: 合う (au) Meaning

Japanese Vocabulary: 合う

Meaning:”to fit,” “to match,” or “to be suitable.”

It can be used to describe things that go together or work well together, such as clothes or colors that match, or activities that are compatible with each other.
