JLPT N3 Grammar: ように (you ni) Meaning

Japanese grammar is an essential part of learning the Japanese language.

It is the set of rules that govern the way words are combined to form sentences in the Japanese language. Japanese grammar is known for its complex system of particles, which are small words that are added to the end of nouns or verbs to indicate the grammatical function of the word in the sentence. In this post, We will talk about JLPT N3 Grammar: ように

N3 Grammar ように(you ni)

[意味]

1. To achieve the purpose and target

The dictionary form should be connected in the case of reflexive verbs, and the possible or non-form should be connected in the case of voluntary verbs.

A non-volitional verb is one that cannot be realized by one’s own will, such as “fall”, “forget”, “be”, or “can”. In the antecedent, there is a purpose and goal, and in the consequent, there is action taken to achieve the goal.

Antecedents and consequents need not be the same.

The word “ni” can also be omitted. Omitting it will result in a stiff nuance.
