JLPT N3 Kanji: 命 (mei, myou, inochi) Meaning: fate, command

Meaning: fate, command

It can also mean “destiny” or “mandate.” In some contexts, it can also mean “an order or command.”

  9. 本命は、桜子ちゃんだ。 My favorite is Sakurako.  
  10. 皆一生懸命生きている。 They’re all living their lives the best way that they can.
