It is important to read textbooks that cover the topics covered on the test when preparing for any exam. JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) works similarly. Hence, if you plan to take the JLPT N3, there are a few textbooks that cover the curriculum of the test, and they can be extremely helpful in ensuring that you perform well.
The JLPT N3 requires you to know about 650 kanji in total, including kanji from N4 and N5, so be sure to review those lists as well.
