JLPT N4 Grammar: させてください

「させてください」 is a polite request in Japanese. It is a combination of the verb “させる” (saseru), which is the causative form of the verb “する” (to do), and the polite phrase “ください” (please). Together, it means “Please let me/us do [something].” 

It is commonly used in formal situations or when requesting something from someone of higher status or authority.
