  1. It referred to when something happened, including before and after.
  2. There is no better time to do something than now.

  7. 彼女は近頃太ってきた。 She has put on weight recently.  
  8. 毎晩、11時頃寝ます。 I sleep around 11PM every night.  
  9. いつ頃日本に来れますか。 When do you think you’ll be able to come to Japan?  
  10. 彼は日頃から走っている。 He runs regularly.  
  11. 日本の雨期は六月頃です。 The Japanese rainy season is around June.
