  1. 今日は晴れて、そして明日も晴れそうです。 It is clear today, and it looks like it will be clear tomorrow too.
  1. 彼は本を読んで、そしてテレビを見ました。  He read a book and then watched TV.

Note that そして can also be written in hiragana as そして or in kanji as 然して.

  1. 昨日は雨が降りました。そして今日も雨が降っています。It rained yesterday, and it is raining today too.)
  1. 私は朝ご飯を食べました。そして仕事に行きました。I ate breakfast and then went to work.
  2. 彼女は買い物に行って、そして、友達とランチを食べました。
