  1. 彼は動物園に行きたがる。 He wants to go to the zoo.  
  2. 彼女は最近の映画を見たがる。 My girlfriend wants to see a recently released movie.  
  3. 娘はいつもスポーツをしたがる。 My daughter always wants to play sports.
  4. でも、お急ぎの方は3番線へって言ってるくらいだから、相当遅れてるんじゃないか。 But, it’s to the point that they’re saying people in a hurry (should go) to Line 3, so it must be running seriously late, don’t you think?
  5. 娘は獣医になりたがっている。 My daughter wants to be a vet.  
  6. 君のようになりたがっている人が居ますよ。 There are people that are wanting to become like you, you know.
