でございます” (de gozaimasu) is a polite and formal way of saying “to be” or “am/is/are” in Japanese. It is used to indicate a state of being or existence and is often used in polite or formal situations. It is the equivalent of です。 but more polite. It is often used in business and formal situations.

  8. 東京タワーはあちらでございます。 Tokyo Tower is over there.
